Saw you at Willy Street Fair today- I was actually there to see another band, but happened to walk by the folk stage during Leaving On a Jet Plane and stayed through four more of my absolute favorite songs (Me & Bobby McGee, Galileo, Teach Your Children, and Fields of Gold). Thank you SO much. I was moved to tears.

Do you ever perform outside of your area? Several years ago we stayed in Minoqua and happen to hear you play at a small arts & crafts fesival. We were very taken by your music, bought one of your CD's and are wearing it out. I thought for sure we would have heard you on Prairie Home Companion, which we have listened to for years. Garrison Keilor needs to be aware of your talent. Keep playing your great music and I hope we can get out to catch you live again.

We have just received your new CD and cannot tell you how impressed we are. Bret, you are a fantastic song writer. "Peace Forever" brought tears to our eyes and the other 3 were equally as good. The whole world needs to hear your music. If they could, maybe there would be Peace Forever.
